Garden Tales 2 game info

Garden Tales is a gnome-themed match 3 game. It’s the sequel to Garden Tales, one of the most popular match 3 games on Solitaire Paradise.

Gameplay

Match three or more identical pieces to collect the pieces and earn points within a set number of turns.

If you match more than three pieces, you’ll get special pieces:

Combining special pieces has different effects:

If there are no possible moves you can make, the board will shuffle.

Levels

After beating level 5, you’ll unlock the level map, which lets you try old levels again or get special boosts in game.

Each level has its own goal. Some levels will require you to collect a certain number of pieces. Other levels will require you to remove all dirt from the board (by matching pieces over it), breaking ice blocks (by matching pieces next to them), or collecting a certain number of fruit baskets (by leading them to the bottom of the board).

Once you meet the level goal, you’ll enter Garden Tales mode. The game will place special pieces on the board, and fire them all at once. You get as many special pieces as you had turns remaining, so try to beat levels with as few moves as possible. Watch the fireworks, and watch your points go up.

Scoring

Each piece is worth 10 points. A chain of three pieces is worth 30 points; a chain of five pieces is worth 50 points. Special pieces are worth more points.

As you hit different point thresholds by matching pieces, you will earn Stars. The more points you get, the more Stars you earn (up to three Stars). You can beat many levels with only one or two stars, but the best players will try to get all three.

Boosters

The game gives you the chance to earn Boosters that make the game easier.

You can earn Boosters after certain levels, find them on the level map, receive them from the prize wheel, or receive them as a gift from your Gnome friends (one every 3 hours).

Coins

Coins are premium currency, earned by beating levels and by watching advertisements. You can spend Coins to get extra moves when you fail a level.

Most levels will give you the chance to earn Coins by watching an extra ad once you’ve beaten them.

At random, the game may pick a level and place a Chest on it (which you can see on the level map). Chests give you Coins and Boosters!

Prize Wheel

The Prize Wheel lets you earn extra Coins, or rarely, a Booster. You can spin the Prize Wheel once a day (once you unlock it at level 15). You can spin it twice, if you’re willing to watch an ad. Sometimes, you get the chance to spin the Prize Wheel after you fail a level.

Hearts

If you fail while playing a level, you’ll lose one Heart. If you run out of Hearts, you can’t keep playing!

You get five hearts to start, and they replenish every half hour.

Daily Challenge

Every day, you can complete a Daily Challenge (unlocked at Level 21). These daily challenges are super hard levels, designed to test your Match 3 skills to the limit.

Daily Missions

You can also complete various daily missions. These missions are randomly generated.

They might include collecting a certain number of a certain kind of piece, spinning the Prize Wheel, collecting a certain number of coins, or completing a certain number of missions while gathering flowers.

You get rewards for completing these missions every day, but you don’t need to play them to beat the game.
